Once upon a time in Colorado...

For those of you who look at Colorado as a winter wonderland, the summer to me is even more magical. Everywhere you go, you will experience astonishment at the beautiful sights.  The people are so warm and friendly and we discovered fantastic restaurants as well!

You can choose to be extremely athletic and adventurous or just enjoy the views.  The best part of traveling with other singles is sharing all the experiences and getting to make new friends.

“It’s not always where you go, but how you get there.” This was our motto for this fantastic Colorado summer trip. No matter where we drove, we were constantly stopping to take pictures of magnificent scenery. Our trip started out in Mesa Verde National Park. There, we got to see the caves and cliff dwellings that the Indians built to live in during the 13th century. Then we stayed in the quaint town of Telluride. Telluride sits in the valley surrounded by majestic mountains and most of the historic town is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. We spent the next few days going on the gondola, hiking, and hot air ballooning, seeing waterfalls, and going to the hot springs and vapor caves of Ouray. We can’t forget to mention the incredible food (foodies delight), the fun shopping and the great people we met in this super friendly town. Our trip finished in Aspen, where we enjoyed a wonderful music and craft fair and went rafting. I can’t wait to go back and see the rest of what Colorado has to offer!
